There is no debating that dropping a nuclear bomb on a country will produce tragic results.
However, is it better now that several countries, not just the US, have nuclear bombs?
Obviously, in a perfect world, no one would have so much destruction potential at their hands.
But right now, we have a situation called: Mutually-assured destruction (MAD)
If only one country had the power to destroy entire cities, even countries, with a press of a button, it’d produce too much of a power imbalance.
The US won’t use their nuclear bomb on China, knowing that China could easily return one back. It’s a tense situation but it also means no one will be using these weapons any time soon. Right???
